Mr. Litman has worked with the Highstar Team since 2003, and joined Highstar full time in 2004. He serves on both Highstar's Investment Committee and Executive Committee.

Mr. Litman has over 12 years of experience as an attorney, working primarily in fund formation, direct investing, mergers and acquisitions and finance. He is responsible for overseeing the Highstar Funds' operations, including the legal, finance, human resources and communications functions, as well as managing the legal work relating to Highstar's fund administration and investment activity. Prior to joining Highstar, Mr. Litman worked for AIG Investments and was an attorney at Paul Hastings LLP, where he worked on a variety of private equity, mergers and acquisitions and finance matters.

Mr. Litman is a former board member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He received a BA, cum laude with General Honors, in History and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD with a concentration in Business Law and Regulation from Cornell Law School. Mr. Litman is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the New York State and New York City Bar Associations.
