Mr. Tasugi joined Highstar Capital in 2008. Since joining Highstar, Mr. Tasugi has been involved in analyzing investments in various infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining Highstar, Mr. Tasugi was an Associate at The Carlyle Group. While at Carlyle, Mr. Tasugi helped evaluate and execute leveraged buyout investments in the automotive, transportation and logistics sectors. Prior to that, he served as an Analyst in the Financial Sponsors and Global Real Estate groups of Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Tasugi received his BS in Economics with concentrations in finance and management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
