Mr. Kowalishin joined Highstar as a Senior Advisor in 2008 and became a Partner in 2009. He serves on Highstar's Investment Committee and Executive Committee.

Mr. Kowalishin has over 19 years of experience investing in and financing infrastructure businesses. Mr. Kowalishin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ports America Companies, the AMPORTS Companies and London City Airport. Prior to joining Highstar, Mr. Kowalishin worked extensively with the Highstar Team as Managing Director of Banque AIG in London. Prior to working at Banque AIG, Mr. Kowalishin was a director at Hambros Bank Limited in London where he structured and originated Eurobond transactions. He began his career on the derivatives marketing desk at Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto.

Mr. Kowalishin holds a BA in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan.
