Mr. Burchetta joined Highstar in 2006 and has over 10 years of experience as an attorney in private equity, securities, mergers and acquisitions and finance.

Mr. Burchetta serves as Highstar's deputy general counsel primarily focusing on Highstar Portfolio Company acquisitions. Mr. Burchetta focuses his time on transactional work related to Highstar's acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining Highstar, he worked for American International Group as the Division Counsel for the American International Group Mergers & Acquisition Insurance Group and was a Corporate Associate at Paul Hastings LLP.

Mr. Burchetta received a BS from Boston College in Communications and a JD from Fordham University School of Law School. Mr. Burchetta is admitted to practice law in New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
