Mr. Lee is the founder of Highstar Capital and has served as its Managing Partner since the inception of Highstar in 1998. He is Chairman of Highstar's Investment Committee and Executive Committee.

Mr. Lee has over 31 years of experience investing in and financing infrastructure businesses. He participates on the Boards of Directors for the Ports America Companies, the AMPORTS Companies and Star Atlantic (Interstate Waste Services and Advanced Disposal Services). Prior to founding Highstar, Mr. Lee had a career in finance, including as a project finance and M&A banker with Chase Manhattan and Lehman Brothers and as CFO of a NYSE listed company based in Mexico City, Grupo Tribasa.

Mr. Lee serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the South Street Seaport Museum in New York City and is a member of the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at The Johns Hopkins University Dean's Advisory Board. Mr. Lee serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Lee received a BA from Johns Hopkins.
