American Ref-Fuel Company LLC owns and operates six state-of-the-art waste-to-energy facilities, located near the major metropolitan population centers of New York City, Newark, Philadelphia, Boston, and Buffalo.

North Carolina Power Holdings, LLC is comprised of two, 35-megawatt, coal-fired power generating plants in Lumberton and Elizabethtown, North Carolina.

Southern Star Central Corp. is the 100% equity owner of Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc., an interstate natural gas pipeline that provides transportation and storage services to customers in the Midwestern U.S., including major metropolitan areas in Kansas and Missouri.

Northern Star Generation, LLC owns various equity interests and operates 15 contracted power plants throughout the U.S.

InterGen N.V. includes 10 operational power plants with a combined capacity of 5,500 MW in the U.K., the Netherlands, Mexico, Philippines, China and Australia. The InterGen power facilities are new and represent the most modern, efficient and cleanest thermal facilities in the countries where they operate. Compared with older technologies, InterGen's facilities burn less fuel for every megawatt of power generated with significantly lower emissions.
